Conference records for the 2026 season after week 8, with the title game picture for each conference. Standings follow the games each conference counts (the championship game is not in the record). Ties are shown as ties (T-2nd) and never broken here, since conferences use long rules that are not in the data; inside a tie teams are listed by their ranking in The Davis Rankings, for display only. Nothing here changes a team's ranking.

A team does not control who is in its own conference, only who it schedules outside of it, so this ranks conferences by how their members do against everyone else. It is a different measure from the standings below, which only look inside each conference. Independents and any group smaller than four teams get a note under the table instead of a row.
